Office Administrator Manager

What does the role involve?

The role will be responsible for managing the pipeline of product training across SIG Roofing and the solar sales team. It includes administrative tasks, scheduling training, coordinating with suppliers, and reporting activities and sales back to the business. The primary focus will be to support the Commercial Director, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within departments, while compiling and reporting on team activities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and enquiry rates.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the business with key product initiatives of Solar and flat roofing team, providing guidance for contacts, products & training enquiries.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales office, ensuring efficient workflow and timely resolution of any issues or escalations.
  • Monitor and report on the team’s activities, KPIs, and enquiry rates.
  • Coordinate the CRM system, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance to support effective sales and customer service.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as branches.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to communicate targets, objectives, and sales-related updates.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate appropriate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or customer service‑oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership and people skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Experience using CRM systems and other sales-related software applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy.
