Role Overview
As Senior Project Manager – Process EMEA, you’ll focus on Advanced Process Solutions engineering and construction projects in EMEA. Our portfolio includes Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Sustainable Fuels, Ammonia, LNG, and downstream oil & gas and fuels‑related facilities, including brownfield modifications and decarbonisation‑focused upgrades. You’ll lead all aspects of medium to large projects with multiple clients, managing and leading teams of multi‑discipline professionals and coordinating the activities of all third‑party companies contributing to the project delivery.
This role is based in our Glasgow city centre office in the United Kingdom. We work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. Some travel to other B&V offices, client offices, project sites etc throughout the region will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of sustainable process projects, including risk to cost, schedule, and quality.
- Managing FEL 1, 2 and 3 Projects and EPC Phase.
- Working with discipline Engineers and Construction Managers to identify and resolve problems or issues related to design, schedule, materials, change management, safety, and quality.
- Managing risk which may include fixed price, new technology, non‑domestic markets, or new clients.
- Participating in project and proposal reviews to ensure alignment with client expectations, quality standards, and commercial objectives.
- Leading downstream oil & gas and fuels projects, including refineries, terminals, petrochemical facilities, and associated utilities and offsites, with particular focus on safety, operability, and integration with existing operating assets.
- Managing brownfield and revamp project execution, including constructability, shutdown/turnaround interfaces, and change management.
- Supporting business development and sales activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and participation in client meetings.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships to secure new and repeat business across hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and downstream oil & gas clients.
- Contributing to commercial strategy, including scope definition, risk assessment, and support to contract negotiations in collaboration with Sales Team and Solution Directors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Significant process industry experience in a project management capacity.
- Previous experience with process industry projects in the United Kingdom.
- EPC project management experience.
- Proven background managing and leading teams of multi‑discipline professionals.
- Experience in coordinating the activities of all third‑party companies contributing to the project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Hydro, Ammonia, Carbon Capture, LNG.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
- Project Management qualification.
- Construction Design Management (CDM) training or experience.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Plan: Project Management. Job Grade: 019. In accordance with local law, the following annual compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: CAD – CAD.
