Autonomous Vehicle – Emergency Response Specialist

TaskUs is seeking a dynamic individual to provide real‑time guidance and support to autonomous vehicles (AVs) in complex driving scenarios. The role involves assisting AVs during live operations, ensuring safety, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Navigate AVs through challenging situations such as blocked streets, narrow lanes, and private driveways.
• Collaborate with AVs to optimise driving paths, considering lane closures and traffic conditions.
• Monitor AV behaviour and intervene to prioritise safety and avoid potential hazards.
• Maintain effective communication with AVs for seamless cooperation.
• Adapt to dynamic road conditions and address unexpected challenges promptly.
• Analyse performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and certifications.

Minimum Requirements

• Background check, drug test, and physical exam required.
• At least 1 year of experience in emergency telecommunications or a related field.
• Valid driver’s licence with 3 years of driving experience and a clean record.
