Software Engineer Intern

PTC Inc. is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the development and enhancement of our innovative software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software features for various PTC products.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to technical discussions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following established coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Debug and resolve software defects, ensuring high‑quality and reliable solutions.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to software development.

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., version control systems like Git, Agile development).
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior internship or project experience in software development is a plus.
