Google Cloud Collaboration Engineer

Role Overview

Google Workspace Engineer – Contract position (6 months) based in London, contracted through Randstad Sourceright for Barclays.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain Google Workspace for all staff.
• Use tools to turn features on and off as needed.
• Facilitate the migration from Microsoft Office to Google Workspace, including direct user support and training.
• Establish and maintain robust security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules to safeguard sensitive data.

Qualifications & Skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Google Workspace ecosystem (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Cloud Identity).
• Proven experience migrating mid-to-large scale organizations (100+ people) from Microsoft to Google Workspace.
• Strong background in DLP security, setting up security and DLP rules for highly sensitive data.
• Experience in regulated environments – public sector, finance, healthcare, or banks – is helpful.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, able to converse with technical and non‑technical personnel.
• Proactive, self‑efficient professional who can manage workload independently.
