Job Description
We’re looking for a junior backend software developer to join our technology team. We’d love to hear from developers with the desire and ability to work across a broad range of disciplines within product delivery, with a primary focus on backend-end software development.
Responsibilities
- Data integration with 3rd party providers
- Continuous Integration
- Assessing the impact and benefits of introducing new technologies, APIs and methodologies
- Take responsibility in everything you do to deliver good outcomes for our customers
- Positively demonstrate the Nucleus values and behaviours
- Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct at all times
Skill Requirements
- Developing with Java or another object-oriented programming language
- Building backend applications as part of a cross-functional team
- Appreciate clean code, good software design and best practises in software engineering
- AWS or similar cloud-based services
- Relational databases and SQL
- Version Control (such as Git)
- Unit testing
- Agile methodologies
