An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Tunbridge Wells & Flimwell Agency. **About the Role** This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join us as a Trainee Insurance Advisor, beginning with a six month placement as a Lead Generator before rotating through all key areas of the agency. Over an 18 month structured programme, you will gain hands on experience across: • Lead Generation • Personal Insurance New Business • Commercial Insurance New Business • Claims • Customer Service & Renewals This structured development pathway is designed to give you a complete understanding of how a successful NFU Mutual agency operates, preparing you for a long term career in insurance advice and customer service. Phase 1 (Months 1–6): Lead Generator During your first six months, you will focus on building confidence, communication skills and commercial awareness through lead generation activity. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead Generation Proactively identify and qualify potential new business opportunities across commercial, personal and financial services through outbound calls, emails, networking, referrals and local canvassing. • Networking & Community Engagement Represent the agency at local business events, trade shows, agricultural shows and community functions to raise brand awareness and generate leads. • Event Support Assist with agency led marketing campaigns, including pre event outreach, attendance and follow up activity. • Relationship Building Develop strong working relationships with local businesses and community groups to support long term lead opportunities. • CRM & Data Management Record and track lead activity using internal CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely follow up. • Cross Selling & Referrals Identify opportunities for insurance, financial services, risk management and health & safety consultancy, passing qualified leads to the relevant teams. • Compliance & Conduct Ensure all activity is compliant and customer centric, following FCA principles and NFU Mutual policies.## About You**Essential** • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Confidence in approaching and speaking with new people • Energetic, self motivated and proactive mindset • Ability to organise and manage your workload • Strong attention to detail • Team oriented, collaborative approach • Professional, positive attitude and willingness to learn **Desirable** • Experience in sales, customer service, events or telemarketing • Understanding of insurance or financial services • Experience using CRM systems • Local market knowledge or existing networking contacts **Performance Expectations** • Quality and volume of leads generated during Phase 1 • Engagement in networking and events • Successful completion of each rotation • Demonstration of learning, development and professionalism • Adherence to compliance and conduct standards **Our Commitment to You** • A supportive and friendly working environment • Full training and development, including technical knowledge and sales soft skills • Funded Cert CII qualification • Clear progression opportunities within a growing agency **Benefits** • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service) • 2 additional days’ holiday over Christmas • Benenden Health • 15 days working from home flexibility • Free parking • Group Life Cover – 4× salary • Eyecare cover • Refer a Friend bonus scheme • Employee discounts on NFU Mutual policies • Pension contributions If you’re an ambitious individual looking to build a long term career in insurance, we’d love to hear from you.
