Audit Semi-Senior – Aylesbury
Clark Wood are currently working with a leading accountancy practice in Aylesbury who are looking to add an Audit Semi Senior to their growing team.
Role Overview
As an Audit Semi Senior, you will play an active role in delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with senior team members to ensure work is carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements. You will perform detailed audit testing, prepare well‑organised audit files, and support the team in producing clear, insightful financial information for clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Perform detailed audit testing and prepare audit files.
- Support the team in producing clear, insightful financial information.
- Liaise regularly with clients and build strong working relationships.
- Ensure clients receive an excellent level of service throughout each assignment.
- Develop technical skills through ongoing training and CPD.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the audit function.
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA (or actively studying).
- Experience gained within practice, particularly in audit and accounts preparation.
- Organised, personable and confident in communicating with colleagues and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
