Risk Pricing Consultant
Join a people‑focused, mutual organisation committed to fair and accurate pricing. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands‑on technical pricing work with people management, developing risk pricing models while leading and supporting a small team.
Work from home 80% of the time, with the remaining 20% spent in Stratford‑upon‑Avon, where you can enjoy our welcoming and modern office setting.
About the role
The Pricing team at NFU Mutual focuses on customers rather than shareholders, supporting local communities and delivering exceptional service across the UK’s Agency Network. As part of a transformation programme, you will play a key role in defining future pricing strategy, influencing a high‑profile, business‑wide initiative and ensuring visible, actionable impact for senior stakeholders.
As a Risk Pricing Consultant you will develop and deliver an independent risk price across a defined product range, ensuring accurate risk cost, strong premium performance and clear insight into drivers of cost inflation. You will work closely with colleagues across Pricing, Claims, IT and Modelling, design and implement effective rating logic, build and refine risk pricing models, and support governance processes to maintain the highest levels of model quality and integrity.
You will also contribute to shaping product, underwriting and pricing decisions by providing robust technical input, monitoring regulatory and market forces and driving continuous improvement.
