Our client, an established asset management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Sustainability Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the firm’s Responsible Investment strategy, ensuring alignment with established sustainability commitments across the investment portfolios
  • Monitor ESG‑related metrics and analyse sustainability performance across multiple asset classes, contributing insights that help inform investment positioning and portfolio management decisions
  • Ensure investment processes remain aligned with existing and emerging regulatory requirements across jurisdictions including the UK, Europe, North America and Asia
  • Contribute to the analysis, implementation and ongoing refinement of climate scenario analysis and stress-testing frameworks, working closely with internal subject‑matter experts and identifying opportunities for enhancement and industry best practice adoption
  • Support the development and integration of the firm’s carbon risk management framework, identifying opportunities to improve processes through better data utilisation and analytics
  • Maintain and enhance internal ESG data infrastructure including ESG databases and reporting tools used for portfolio analysis and regulatory reporting
  • Provide ESG and sustainability expertise to investment teams, helping embed responsible investment considerations into research and portfolio management activities
  • Support ad‑hoc analytical and data‑driven projects within the investment team when required

Candidate Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in ESG/Responsible Investment role within an asset manager, asset owner or insurance company
  • Knowledge of fixed income markets; candidates with solely equities experience are unlikely to be suitable
  • Experience with climate scenario analysis, stress testing and transition risk assessment within investment portfolios
  • Familiarity with climate and ESG metrics such as carbon intensity and financed emissions
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks concerning asset management sustainability reporting and risk management
  • Strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex sustainability concepts into practical investment insights
  • Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and contribute ideas for process improvement and innovation
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong collaboration skills
