Team / Role Overview

The Asset Servicing Senior Analyst works within the Asset Servicing group, a high‑risk function in the Markets Operations division. The unit provides client‑orientated support to front and middle offices and handles operations for Prime Brokerage, Stock Lending, Firm Trading Desks, Repo and Swaps for Equity and Fixed Income.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle management of voluntary corporate actions such as tender offers, rights issues, conversions, share buybacks, exchange offers and consent solicitations.
  • Process and manage client elections and instructions for voluntary corporate actions, ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to market deadlines.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, calculate potential market exposure and implement operational controls to mitigate risk.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of voluntary corporate action positions and entitlements.
  • Investigate and resolve variances and mismatches with custodians, internal accounts and broker‑dealers.
  • Coordinate information flow between front office, middle office, settlements, tax, custodian banks and client‑facing teams.
  • Articulate complex corporate actions to stakeholders and represent the business effectively.
  • Drive continuous process enhancements, identify efficiency savings, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions, including automation where appropriate.
  • Participate in or lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing risk and enhancing operational processes in voluntary corporate actions.

Qualifications

  • Relevant corporate action experience, preferably in a broker‑dealer environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear client orientation.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Team‑oriented with initiative to recommend process improvements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong risk management and control mindset.
  • Capability to build trust and establish collaborative relationships across the business.
  • Awareness of external and internal best practices.
  • Time‑management skill and drive to learn and improve performance.
