Location and Salary
Location: Ardmore House, 40 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2LE.
Salary: up to £30,000 (inexperienced) up to £45,000 (experienced), plus uncapped bonus.
Working pattern: Hybrid, three days in the office and two from home after initial onboarding.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Contract: Permanent, full time.
About the role
Reed Edinburgh is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join its growing and successful Technology team. This is a full lifecycle recruitment role where you will take ownership of your own desk. You will build and develop client relationships, win new business and support candidates through the hiring process from initial contact to onboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities and building a strong client base
- Managing and growing existing client relationships
- Taking detailed job briefs and advising clients on recruitment strategy
- Negotiating fees and terms of business
- Sourcing, headhunting and engaging high‑quality candidates
- Managing the interview process from coordination to feedback
- Conducting right to work and reference checks
- Supporting candidates through to successful placement and onboarding
