University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust offers a 12‑month fixed‑term Senior Clinical Fellow position in the Cardiology team at the Bristol Heart Institute (BHI).
Opportunity to gain training in coronary angiography, echocardiography, complex imaging, electrophysiology and pacing, tailored to your interests and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient cardiology care on two dedicated wards.
- Attend outpatient clinics including general cardiology, heart failure, valvular heart disease, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease.
- Participate in the cardiology on‑call rota (approximately 1 in 11).
- Support the newly established Same Day Emergency Care service.
- Contribute to consultant‑led ward rounds and secondary/tertiary cardiac services.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualified medical practitioner with interest in cardiology and experience in (or willingness to develop) the disciplines listed above. Preference for applicants who have completed or are in the final stages of a cardiology sub‑specialty training programme.
