Shift Maintenance Engineer – London Bridge, London | Up to £53,000
I have a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading maintenance company based at London Bridge, London. You will be working across a brand‑new, high-end corporate commercial office and luxury residential development on behalf of a prestigious property management company. The role involves carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and general building maintenance tasks in a high‑profile environment.
My client is currently seeking:
- 1 x Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer
- 1 x Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer
The positions require proven experience in building services and offer the chance to work within a high‑profile corporate head office.
Hours
Continental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights 07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00
Requirements
- Apprentice trained
- Electrical or Mechanical – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent)
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Valid CSCS Card
- Strong client‑facing communication skills
- Proven commercial building maintenance experience

Duties
- Electrical and mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance
- General building services tasks
- Emergency lighting, fire alarms, FCUs, AHUs, HVAC plant, and water treatment
- Three-phase and single-phase systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and electrical monitoring
- Air conditioning and chillers, pumps, motors, and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
- Working within a large blue‑chip commercial office environment
- Collaborating as part of a close‑knit maintenance team to deliver an exceptional service to the client
