About The Role:

To support in the successful delivery of Facilities Maintenance contracts, across the Central Belt (Scotland).

As a Mobile Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you’ll support in all FM related works with a bias towards Mechanical Maintenance across a variety of sites, including healthcare and education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, inspect and carry out reactive repairs or preventative maintenance as required and to respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within budget and to the required quality standards and contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance works, ensuring work is carried out to the correct specification and with the highest quality.
  • Provide quotations for any works recommended.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that a safe system of work is followed prior to the commencement of the work activity
  • Ensure that sites are kept to the highest standards, to ensure all works are completed.
  • Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.

Essential Hiring Criteria:

  • Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must have a current, valid driving licence
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing
  • Gas Safe Qualified (Commercial gas Safe)
  • Commercial gas qualifications preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
  • CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
  • Able to work On call
  • Understanding of First Aid
  • IT Literate – Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products
