Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Building Service company seeking a capable and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their London-based team.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed mechanical designs and engineering drawings
• Developing concepts into manufacturable solutions
• Supporting prototyping, testing, and product development activities
• Working collaboratively with engineering and project teams
• Ensuring designs meet technical, quality, and compliance standards

This is a mid-level position suited to someone with a proven track record in mechanical design who is looking to work on technically engaging projects within a collaborative office environment.

The role requires strong practical engineering knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions from concept through to production.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable commercial experience in mechanical design engineering
• A strong portfolio or track record of completed engineering projects
• Proficiency with CAD software and engineering drawing standards
• Practical understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

This is an office‑based role and attendance on‑site is essential.
