Job Title: Pump Service Engineer

Leggwork is working with a well‑respected contractor operating across Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure, currently seeking a Pump Service Engineer to support ongoing works across the South West.

This role is hands‑on and field‑based, working across a range of water and pumping systems, with a focus on install, service, maintenance and reactive works with a proactive approach.

Location: Wiltshire & travel across the South-West

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain pump systems including Grundfos, Flygt, borehole and UV filtration pumps.
• Identify and rectify faults across various mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform servicing and maintenance on motors, pipework, and related pumping equipment.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient system operation.
• Operate across multiple sites as part of a mobile engineering team supporting live infrastructure projects throughout the South West.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on pump systems (install, service, maintenance and repair).
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fault‑find independently.
• Experience working on Grundfos, Flygt, borehole or UV filtration systems highly desirable.
• Electrical knowledge around control panels (installation, servicing, repair and commissioning) advantageous, but not essential.
• Comfortable working a 50‑hour week in a site‑based role.
• Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
