Mechanical Engineer (Training in Project Engineering)
Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 + progression, industry training, pension, 25 days holiday, 200 hours.
Commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Bolton, St Helens, Southport, and surrounding areas.
We are a manufacturer of specialist automated machinery for the commercial/industrial water sector. The company has experienced up to 200% growth over the last few years and is looking to invest in individuals to join their growth journey.
Role Overview
You will lead manufacturing projects to fulfil bespoke client requirements, assist with designs and layouts of CAD schematics, liaise with on‑site teams and clients to ensure correct requirements are met.
This role suits a Mechanical Engineer with knowledge in pumps, pipework, water, construction or similar areas, or an entry‑level mechanical graduate, or an established Project Engineer / Project Manager looking to develop within a project engineering career path.
Responsibilities
- Monday – Thursday (8:30am – 5:00pm) & Friday (8:00am – 2:30pm)
- Lead project delivery
- Manage bespoke projects
- Assist with design, liaise with on‑site teams, testing, validation, and root‑cause analysis to enhance performance
