About The Role
Working to a 4‑on 4‑off shift pattern, the team provides 7‑day proactive and reactive support to keep our retail and restaurant operations fully functioning at all times. This is a hands‑on, technical role in a fast‑paced and busy environment; key daily activities include monitoring systems for availability, tracking ticket queues for support issues, investigating and troubleshooting incidents, and building and configuring new EPOS & related systems.
You will also:
- Investigate & resolve incidents and requests assigned to the Retail Systems Services team
- Build and configure EPOS and related systems
- Install, fix and replace EPOS and related systems
- Assist with the management of all monitoring system tools
- Ensure that the Retail Systems Services Manager is informed of any operational activities
About You
As the EPOS Systems Engineer you will have previous experience working with EPOS Systems and a background in retail. You must be a confident, articulate communicator who can manage stakeholders for brands as first point of contact and have sensible conversations.
You will also have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills, as these are essential to maintaining our high standards. We are looking for someone with analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and troubleshooting experience. Ideally you will have an IT background too, and you must be able to work 4 days on 4 days off, totally store‑based (including bank holidays and weekends).
