Job Description:

We are hiring a Site Engineer to work on a long‑term framework for complex infrastructure projects. UK National Security Clearance is required.

The Role

As a Site Engineer, you will take ownership of engineering activities across the project, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and high quality standards. You will support and develop junior engineers, contributing to a strong engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver all site engineering duties across self‑delivery and subcontracted works
  • Supervise and support engineers under your control, ensuring high standards of performance
  • Educate, mentor, and develop members of the engineering team
  • Contribute to and review key documentation including RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs, and ITPs
  • Support weekly progress reporting and short‑term planning updates
  • Raise and manage NCRs, Technical Queries (TQs), and Early Warnings
  • Ensure accurate setting out, quality assurance, and compliance with project requirements

About You

  • Experience working as a Site Engineer within a civil engineering environment
  • Strong background in concrete structures
  • Confident managing engineering outputs across both direct labour and subcontractors
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to lead and mentor others
  • Strong understanding of site documentation, quality processes, and planning activities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering
  • 5 Years’ experience
  • Working towards Professional Certification
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
