Job Overview

Graduate / Trainee Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) – £27,000 to £35,000 (£45,000 OTE). Location: Carlisle, Cumbria. The role offers full training, company van, overtime, and clear progression to become a fully qualified Hydraulic Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Shadow senior engineers across UK sites
• Assist with commissioning, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic systems
• Receive full internal and manufacturer-led training
• Field‑based role requiring UK travel
• Progress towards becoming a fully qualified Field Service / Hydraulic Engineer

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering graduate or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Keen to learn and develop a career in hydraulics and field engineering
• Full UK driving licence
• Can commute to Carlisle
