Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer ( Milling Machining bias), you’ll need to possess excellent experience in CNC manufacturing Milling practices and processes including programming using Siemens NX CAD/CAM knowledge.
Experience with 5 axis machining centres DMG Mori Seiki, Okuma and Mazak I200 is highly desirable, along with experience of machining complex alloys such as titanium, inconel, aluminium grades.
DUTIES – Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Milling)
- Authorisng and approving manufacturing processes and process specifications
- Create and optimise Online and Offline 5 Axis milling programming for CNC Activities
- Perform problem solving and root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
- Provide technical, machining task planning and authorisation.
- Advise and support daily shop‑floor management meetings.
- Develop the ME function, identifying new technology to enhance productivity & quality.
BACKGROUND – Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Milling)
- Manufacturing / Engineering Apprenticeship or above.
- Previous Hands‑on Machining experience
- Experience with multi axis milling machines
- Confident with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems and Advanced capability in Siemens NX CAD/CAM programming (online and offline)
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing engineering (Or equivalent)
- Significant experience in regulated manufacturing/process engineering environment
- Proven CNC Programming expertise
- Strong knowledge of DFM, DFSS, APQP, Lean methodologies and Zero Defects principles.
