Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Belfast for a Health and Safety Manager. The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across company operations. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, and maintaining records of safety performance. This role is essential in fostering a safe working environment and promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety, including risk management and accident prevention
- Knowledge and experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health
- Proven ability to deliver effective Safety Training sessions
- NEBOSH certification or an equivalent recognized qualification is required
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience within the construction or building materials industry is an advantage
- Proficiency in maintaining compliance records and familiarity with regulatory standards
