Responsibilities
- Establish and provide leadership in best practice in safety, health and sustainability matters on the Project
- Advise and support Directors, Managers and Supervisors to discharge their H & S responsibilities
- Ensure management controls are in place so that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities and to provide advice as and when required
- Take a lead with site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements
- Manage & carry out surveillance, regular inspections & audits of sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with policies & procedures
- Lead, partake and oversee accident/incident investigations in accordance with procedures, analysing all data and making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences
Qualifications
- Minimum of a NEBOSH and IOSH qualification
- Have held Senior Health & Safety positions working on major Infrastructure schemes throughout your career
