The Role
This is a varied and pivotal role supporting the Data Manager to ensure the smooth, secure and compliant delivery of all internal and external examinations. You will take responsibility for the end‑to‑end administration of the exams process, from planning and candidate entries through to results day and post‑results services. Working in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations, you will oversee exam timetabling, manage secure materials, coordinate invigilators, and act as the key point of contact for all examination‑related matters. The role requires strong organisation and attention to detail, as you will manage multiple deadlines, liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensure all processes are completed accurately and on time. You will also play an important role in safeguarding the integrity of assessments, supporting inspections, and contributing to the wider life of the academy as part of a collaborative Data and Administration team.
Requirements and Qualifications
You are a highly organised and methodical administrator with excellent time management and IT skills, capable of managing complex processes with accuracy and efficiency. With strong communication skills, you are confident working with staff, students, parents and external organisations, ensuring information is clear, timely and compliant. You demonstrate sound judgement, discretion and a calm approach, particularly when working under pressure or managing sensitive information.Ideally, you will have experience of working with data systems (such as SIMS) and an understanding of examinations processes, although a willingness to learn and adapt is equally important. You are flexible, proactive and committed to continuous improvement, with a strong alignment to the values and ethos of the academy. Above all, you are dedicated to ensuring a fair, secure and well‑managed examination experience for all students.
