An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dietitian to join our Lothian Intellectual disabilities dietetic team of 3.3wte. This post will be based with the Community Intellectual Disability team in Wester Hailes Health Agency, Edinburgh and work alongside a range of other professionals. The post holder will provide a Dietetic service to clients with complex intellectual disabilities either in their own home or whilst in hospital/care facilities anywhere within the board area and have a remit for the supervision of dietetic students. It is an exciting opportunity, for a dietitian who has a keen interest in intellectual disabilities to become a valued member of our team.
You would be expected to participate in student training (A, B and C placements) and provide clinical training and supervision for other dietitians and other staff within the team. We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical and leadership skills.
