Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator to join a thriving manufacturing company based in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will work alongside the purchasing and supply chain team.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of shipments of machinery and spare parts.
• Track shipments and help resolve issues.
• Support export processes.
• Assist with preparing and managing shipping documentation.
• Work with the production and stores team to ensure goods are prepared, packed and ready for dispatch.
• Help maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Liaise with sales to help manage delivery expectations.

Requirements

• Proven supply chain or shipping experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of shipping processes, with an interest in developing knowledge further.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Confident MS Office user.
• Experience with ERP/MRP software such as Sage or SAP is desirable.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Role Details

• Starting salary of £29,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
• Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate.
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• Pension Scheme and Medical Cashplan.
