Venue Supervisor

Location: The Town House, Hamilton

Hours: 21 hours per week

Shift pattern: 3 days over 7 shift pattern – dependent on the needs of the service. Will include working evenings, weekends and occasional public holidays.

Salary: £18.34 – £18.85 per hour

Duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2027

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day‑to‑day duty management of the venue.
  • Supervise and oversee all operational aspects of the building including the box office, client requirements, legislative compliance, health and safety and various IT packages.
  • Provide staff supervision, payroll, absence monitoring, staff development and team briefings.
  • Demonstrate good communication and organisational skills and lead a team in a motivated and enthusiastic manner.

Qualifications

  • Experience of staff supervision, payroll, absence monitoring, staff development and team briefings.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience working within a customer‑focused organisation.
