Glasgow & Various Site Locations – Full Time | Permanent.

Salary £40,000 – £55,000 + Excellent Package. Most roles are based in Glasgow with opportunities to work on other sites across the UK.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be heavily involved in the financial and contractual management of projects from pre‑construction through to final account, supporting successful delivery and career development within a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.

• Managing the commercial performance of construction projects
• Producing monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations
• Ensuring valuations are maximised and payments received on time
• Monitoring site progress and issuing contractual notices where required
• Preparing and managing cost and value forecasts
• Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial relationships
• Negotiating and agreeing variations throughout projects
• Assisting with tendering and estimating activities
• Procuring competitive quotations and ensuring specification compliance
• Working closely with operational teams, clients and consultants
• Supporting project delivery to ensure programmes and budgets are achieved
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and quality procedures

What My Client Is Looking For

• Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying position within construction
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Strong analytical and organisational capabilities
• Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
• Full UK driving licence
