Salary: GBP50000 – GBP60000 per annum
We’re recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing site within the North West London area. This is a great opportunity to join a stable business with a strong engineering team, modern equipment and a shift pattern that gives you genuine downtime.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for keeping production machinery running smoothly through a mix of reactive breakdown work and planned preventative maintenance. The role is hands‑on and would suit an electrically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding and working in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to machinery breakdowns quickly and efficiently
- Carrying out planned maintenance across production equipment
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Working on motors, conveyors, sensors, control panels and PLCs
- Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensuring machinery is running safely and efficiently
- Helping improve reliability and machine performance
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within FMCG or manufacturing
- Multi‑skilled engineer with an electrical bias
- PLC fault finding experience
- Engineering qualifications (NVQ, BTEC, HNC or equivalent)
- 18th Edition beneficial but not essential
- Someone proactive, reliable and happy working in a fast‑paced environment
