Pastoral Support Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Brighton MET College, part of the Chichester College Group

Reference number: BRTN1277

Working hours: 20 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Salary: Pro rata of £26,045 – £26,141 (£12,778.84 – £12,825.94).

This role is a fixed‑term maternity cover for up to one year, or until the return, resignation or replacement of the current post holder.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Pastoral Support Tutors and Management to ensure effective operation for students and other customers.
  • Contribute to the organisation of area events such as open days.
  • Use proven customer service and organisational skills in daily interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of people including students, parents and stakeholders.
