Nursery Early Years Childcare Manager

Job Description An independent bilingual (French & English) day nursery located within close proximity to Tufnell Park station is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to join its expanding team of 20 staff. The nursery has a capacity for approximately 50 children aged from babies to five years old and pride itself as one of the leading French speaking Early Years providers in the UK.Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will also receive 7 weeks paid annual leave (plus bank holidays) with an additional day for each year of employment, 5 paid sick days, a day off for your birthday, progression opportunities and in-house training with leading names in the industry and being a beneficiary of an end of year bonus scheme)As a Nursery Manager, your duties will include but not limited to: Take responsibility for drawing up long-term, medium-term, and sessional curriculum plans which take into account the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and to monitor the effectiveness of the setting’s curriculum. Effectively lead, develop, and manage a large team to ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe, and stimulating environment. Act as the setting’s designated Child Protection Officer. Ensure that the setting is compliant with Health and Safety and OFSTED requirements. The ideal Nursery Manager will hold the following qualifications and experiences: An Early Years Degree (preferred). Previous experience in managing a similar sized nursery setting. Previous experience of leading exceptional childcare standards and compliance with Health and Safety and OFSTED requirements.
