Position: Food Store Person
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / SeasonalPay Rates: Up to 12.71 per hour depending on age

We are seeking a Food Store legend to keep our stock areas in top shape! If you’ve got a knack for organisation and love the idea of making sure everything’s ready to roll behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you. As our go-to Food Store Person, you’ll handle it allfrom receiving and sorting deliveries to making sure our kitchens are fully stocked and primed for action. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to be the hero who keeps things running smoothly, we’d love to have you join the team!
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and maintain inventory levels for food stock, keeping track of stock levels and expiry dates.
– Accept deliveries, check for accuracy and quality, and store items properly to ensure freshness and easy access.
– Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the storeroom, fridges, freezers, and stock areas, ensuring all items are stored securely and hygienically.
– Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, and ensure storage areas meet food safety compliance standards.
– Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to minimise waste.
Requirements
– Previous experience in a stockroom or food storage role, preferably in a restaurant, kitchen, or hospitality setting
– Basic food hygiene knowledge.
– Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, including boxes and crates.
– Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
– Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
