Key Account Manager

FT Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit for a driven and approachable Key Account Manager to support the continued growth of their business across the marine, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors. The role will focus on developing strong client relationships, increasing brand visibility, identifying opportunities within both existing and emerging markets, and acting as a representative of the company within the industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our market presence while contributing to the company’s wider growth strategy. Duties Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging market sectors to support company growth Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends and developments Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking events Promote and present the company’s services and capabilities to both prospective and existing clients Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and support project opportunities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the marine, offshore, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors Contribute ideas and initiatives that support business development and long-term growth objectives Requirements Proven experience in business development or a similar customer-facing role Industry background within marine, offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy sectors is essential for this role Excellent communication and relationship management skills Confident representing a company at industry events and professional meetings Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organised Comfortable conducting market analysis and industry research Willingness to travel when required Full UK driving licence is essential for this role41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
