Requirement 3x 35 hours & 1x 28 hours FTC until February 2027 Your new company We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Careers Adviser to support individuals of all ages to make informed decisions about their future.This is a people-focused role centred around coaching and guidance, helping clients build confidence, develop career management skills, and progress into sustainable employment, education or training opportunities. You’ll work across a range of settings – including schools, community environments, and partner organisations – delivering both one-to-one and group-based support. No two days are the same. Your new role Deliver tailored careers information, advice and guidance through a coaching-led approach Support individuals to develop career management skills, set goals and achieve positive outcomes Carry out in-depth assessments to understand barriers, strengths and future aspirations Provide practical support at key transition points (e.g. into employment, education or training) Deliver engaging group sessions and workshops Build strong relationships with schools, training providers, employers and community partners Use labour market insight to inform guidance and support decision-making Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement What you’ll need to succeed Postgraduate qualification in Career Guidance and Development (or equivalent recognised accreditation) Proven experience delivering careers advice and guidance Strong coaching and interpersonal skills Knowledge of career pathways, education routes and employability support Ability to work with diverse groups, including young people and adults Confident using digital tools and systems What you’ll get in return Salary of 44525-50740 Hybrid working Flexible working Office based in Glasgow City centre What you need to do now If you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
