Property Lawyer (Hybrid) needed in Westminster, £170.67 per day PAYE – Reference: RQ1548258

Key Responsibilities

Provide clear, practical legal advice on property law issues to internal clients and stakeholders.

Draft and negotiate legal documents including lease extensions, licences, deeds of variation, and reports on title.

Lead or support on legal transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of council property.

Advise on property due diligence, asset transfers, SDLT returns, and general property queries.

Manage relationships with external legal counsel and barristers, including raising purchase orders.

Contribute to legal input in decision-making reports for Cabinet, Members, and senior officers.

Monitor legal developments and ensure clients are informed of relevant changes in law and practice.

Support the development of junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and precedent development.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
