Our client, a busy franchised dealership, in Barnet has the requirement for an experiencedGeneral Manager / Head of Business to lead their successful dealership team.
Responsibilities
As a General Manager / Head of Business your responsibilities will include:
Achieve profit and volume objectives against budget
Provide leadership & coaching to your dealership teamCommunicate vision and goalsOversee recruitment and retention of staffAgree standards and the performance requiredConduct monthly appraisals/reviews with line managersInstall, monitor, and maintain processesProvide, maintain, and ensure Excellent Customer Service is delivered at all timeMonitor and review each departments financial performanceConduct monthly Accounts Reviews with line managersWork with Dealership Accountant to examine accounts, operating controls, composite etcMaintain financial controls to operate within expense budgetExamine and control Weekly/Monthly debtorsReview sales volumes, pricing policy, discounts, parts pricing and labour ratesBuild and manage relationships with manufacturer and suppliersHealth & Safety and Site SecurityMonitor, understand and use best practice to achieve Group KPI’s
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years General Manager / Head of Business experienceFranchised Dealership ExperienceFull UK Driving Licence
