Director of Operations (Chinese Speaking, £66K, Industrial Machinery Manufacturing, Hull)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Operations role in an Industrial Machinery Manufacturing based in Hull, which manufactures high-quality, eco-friendly water mist fire suppression systems.

This position reports to the group’s headquarters and is crucial to setting strategic plans and driving company growth across Europe. The role works closely with the global/Asian team and is accountable for evaluating business P & L growth.

Qualifications

• 35-45 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (engineering or a similar technical field or equivalent education/relevant work exposure).
• 8 years of managerial experience.
• Over 5 years of team management experience with a proven track record of success.
• Familiarity with modern manufacturing techniques including continuous flow, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in the fire protection products sector preferred.
• English required, Chinese preferred.
• Capability to commute/relocate to Hull regularly.
