- Lead and support technology‑focused commercial agreements, including MSAs, TSAs, framework agreements and Statements of Work, plus AI‑related matters.
- Support high‑value, complex and innovative outsourcing arrangements, including long‑term “living” contracts and ongoing SOWs.
- Partner with Regulatory and Corporate Affairs on competition, regulatory and compliance issues affecting the Project and the wider Group.
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to commercial strategy and negotiation approach to deliver outcomes in the best interests of the Group.
- Contribute to AI governance, policy and ethics at Group level.
- Support dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel and internal litigation leads.
- Project‑manage legal workstreams to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the Legal M&A and Strategic Services teams on transactions, including procurement and transitional services.
- Lead legal input on new ‘Growth’ initiatives, including management of external counsel and legal spend.
Qualifications
- Essential: Qualification as a lawyer with significant post‑qualification experience, ideally combining private practice and in‑house exposure.
- Proven experience in technology‑driven commercial work and MVNO / MVNE / mobile agreements.
- Strong ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Broad knowledge of international commercial law, including IP, procurement, IT, AI and data privacy, with some corporate/M&A exposure.
- Confidence to act as the face of Legal with senior stakeholders, communicating with authority, tact and pragmatism.
- Experience managing complex, cross‑border workstreams.
- Strong self‑management, resilience and ability to handle changing priorities.
- Excellent communication, influencing and project‑management skills.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across cultures and disciplines.
