Description

The Construction Contracts Legal Counsel will be:

  • Providing legal advice on high‑value NEC construction and infrastructure contracts
  • Supporting procurement, commercial and supply chain teams on major projects work
  • Advising on contractual claims, disputes and risk allocation matters
  • Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and funding arrangements
  • Managing external legal counsel where required and supporting key stakeholder decision making

Profile

The Construction Contracts Legal Counsel should be:

  • A solicitor or barrister with strong construction and commercial contracts experience
  • Experienced advising on NEC contracts within infrastructure, construction or major projects environments
  • Experienced working either in‑house or in private practice supporting major UK projects
  • Comfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships across commercial and procurement teams
  • Experienced handling contractual claims, procurement and risk management matters
