Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipment
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimise manufacturing processes
- Evaluate new and existing production lines to identify improvements to manufacturing processes, analytical requirements, and equipment; advise appropriate engineering personnel on manufacturability, process robustness, and equipment requirements
- Ensure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing (NPI)
- Document software architecture, code, and system configurations
Key Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / HND / Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related industry qualification
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering relating to Electronics, Software, and Automation
- Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems
