We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Marketing to lead and evolve a growing marketing function within a well-established international business operating in the scientific and technical manufacturing sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on marketing leader to shape the next phase of marketing development, bringing greater structure, stronger processes and improved alignment across the wider business. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening marketing operations, improving data visibility and helping demonstrate marketing’s contribution to commercial performance.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the marketing function during a period of growth and transformation. You will be responsible for driving improvements across campaign planning, CRM usage, marketing operations, reporting and team development.
Working closely with Sales and Product Management, you will help build stronger cross‑functional collaboration, improve planning and accountability, and ensure marketing activity supports wider commercial objectives.
This role combines strategic leadership with day‑to‑day operational delivery and would suit someone who enjoys improving how things work while building strong relationships across a business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the marketing function, creating a more structured and scalable operating model
- Improve campaign planning, delivery processes and performance tracking
- Strengthen CRM usage, data quality and pipeline reporting
- Use marketing insights and data to support commercial decision‑making
- Partner closely with Sales and Product Management to improve alignment and collaboration
- Review team structure, capabilities and responsibilities to support future growth
- Influence senior stakeholders and drive positive change across the organisation
- Oversee marketing, content, design, brand, events and business development activity
About You
You will be an experienced marketing leader with a track record of building, developing or transforming marketing functions within an SME or growing business environment.
You will bring strong expertise across:
- Marketing operations
- Campaign management
- CRM and marketing data
- Pipeline reporting and performance analysis
- Team leadership and development
You will also be:
- Commercially minded and highly organised
