We are looking for a full-time Multi-SitePractice Manager to join our Birmingham Division. This is much more than atraditional management role; you will be a key member of the Senior LeadershipTeam, leading operational delivery, supporting practice teams, and drivinginnovation and service improvement across the Division.
Your skills and experience willhelp maximise operational efficiency, support high-quality patient care, andensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while contributing towider organisational priorities. Main duties of the job
This is a dynamic, operational, leadership and strategically focused management role. You will be responsible for day to day practice management, supporting staff and team leaders while ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance and operational performance.
You will work collaboratively with partners, managers, and practice teams to deliver national and local quality standards, supporting innovation and continuous improvement across services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing practice day to day operations and supporting staff performance and development.
- Leading and motivating teams to deliver excellent patient services and operational efficiency.
- Acting as the first point of contact for premises and Health & Safety matters, escalating issues appropriately.
- Supporting the delivery of CQC, ICB and NHSE standards and requirements.
- Managing and prioritising projects, operational improvements and service developments.
- Supporting recruitment, performance management, sickness absence management and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Using effective communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills to support service improvement.
You will need strong leadership, organisational and communication skills together with the ability to work proactively under pressure. - Qualifications to NVQ Level 4/5 and/or equivalent experience as a Manager or Senior Supervisor within a GP surgery.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in the use of clinical IT systems.
- Knowledge and experience of performance management, recruitment, sickness absence management, and implementation of managerial policies and procedures.
- Understanding of General Data Protection Regulations and their application within a Primary Care setting.
Skills
- Awareness of the importance of innovation within healthcare.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clear understanding of HR legislation relevant to the role.
