Development Manager – Medical Equipment Manufacturing

We are an award-winning medical equipment manufacturing company looking for a Development Manager to understand and address customer demands in a fast-paced, small-team startup setting.

Requirements

• Rapid prototyping experience (ALM/3DP/SLS)
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo)
• Ph.D., master’s, or bachelor’s in mechanical, biomedical, aerospace, or automotive engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Solid background in medical device development (preferred)
• Intellectual versatility and creativity; prioritized regardless of skill level
• Proven record of successful product development
• Strong technical skills in developing mechanical systems
• Knowledge of medical device marketing channels, plans, and policies
• Outstanding project-management and organisational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a group
• Capability to meet deadlines and ensure team members and partners do as well
• Capacity to collaborate with the broader team to drive and prioritise projects
• Eligible to work and live in the UK
