The Role
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team in London, UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical individual to contribute to our mission of investing in transformative technologies that address global challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within our investment sectors.
- Deal Sourcing & Screening: Support the identification, screening, and evaluation of potential investment opportunities, including reviewing pitch decks, conducting initial due diligence, and preparing investment memos.
- Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain and update financial models to assess potential investments, including valuations, projections, and scenario analysis.
- Due Diligence: Assist in comprehensive due diligence processes, covering commercial, technical, and legal aspects.
- Portfolio Management Support: Contribute to monitoring and analysis of existing portfolio companies, tracking performance and identifying areas for value creation.
- Reporting & Presentations: Prepare compelling presentations and reports for stakeholders, including investment committees and limited partners.
- Network Building: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships with founders, investors, and ecosystem participants.
- Ad‑Hoc Projects: Support the investment team on various ad‑hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, STEM, or a related field.
- 1‑3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field with a strong analytical component.
- Demonstrated interest in impact investing and technologies linked to the UN SDGs.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and financial databases (e.g., PitchBook, S&P Capital IQ) is a plus.
