  • Support the design and ongoing enhancement of risk frameworks and controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose
  • Partner with business, operations, compliance, audit and risk teams to manage incidents, events and regulatory matters effectively
  • Lead or support risk event management, including escalation, logging and stakeholder communication
  • Act as a key contact point for internal audits, including preparation, coordination and follow‑through on actions
  • Deliver and refresh RCSA submissions, support risk profile reviews and drive escalations to relevant governance forums
  • Oversee key areas of service and control management, including BCP, TPRM, IGAs and policy implementation
  • Help embed strong conduct, governance and ethical standards across the business
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement and the integration of risk management into BAU activity

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in operational risk management within a Markets, Banking or Financial Services environment
  • Solid understanding of risk frameworks, controls, incident management and governance
  • Experience with RCSA, audit engagement, risk event logging and regulatory‑related processes

  • Understanding of operations / back‑office processes and associated control environments
  • Experience supporting resilience and supplier oversight activities such as BCP and TPRM
  • Strong process improvement capability with the ability to translate policy into practical BAU processes

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • A proactive and solutions‑focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High levels of ownership, accountability and sound judgement
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and supporting change and continuous improvement
  • A clear commitment to integrity, collaboration and inclusive working practices
