The Role Overview
As an Engineering Team Leader, you will take full ownership of the product design lifecycle, from concept through to delivery, within a dynamic R&D environment. Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of engineers, with the Engineering Team Leader responsible for fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Manage and oversee product development and design activities, using strong CAD expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Provide strategic direction as an Engineering Team Leader, ensuring all engineering projects align with wider business goals and industry standards.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience working as an Engineering Team Leader or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or R&D environment
- Strong CAD experience with a track record of owning product design and development projects end-to-end
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop engineers directly, driving performance and engagement
- Background within ventilation, HVAC, air handling, or a related engineering sector is highly desirable
