Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface between the Design Office and Manufacturing to ensure designs are optimised for production.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage work instruction systems.
- Establish standard build times for both standard and bespoke products.
- Specify and manage tooling requirements for enclosures and generator pods.
- Define and improve material flow and logistics across the site.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Support CAPEX projects, including justification, implementation, and cost tracking.
- Contribute to improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Requirements.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Continuous Improvement role.
- Proven ability to translate engineering designs into practical manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes would be highly appreciated.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong problem‑solving mindset.
- Experience leading improvement projects across operational areas.
- Ability to see the “big picture” and understand how engineering decisions impact site‑wide performance.
- Potential to lead a team.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working cross‑functionally.
