Integrated Management System Lead – Gloucestershire

Join Ontic’s IMS Compliance team as an Integrated Management System Lead. This on‑site role involves travel across UK sites, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with Part145, HSE and ISO frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and continuously improve the Integrated Management System.
• Plan, execute, report and follow‑up audit activity across sites, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Identify trends in non‑conformance, support root‑cause and corrective action processes, and drive improvements to align processes and procedures with operational practice.
• Act as the IMS focal point for the site, working closely with operational teams and auditors to provide guidance on compliance requirements.
• Support regulatory audits and ensure changes to processes are effectively managed and embedded.
• Provide regular reporting on IMS performance, highlighting risks, trends and opportunities for improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a regulated engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally in aerospace.
• Strong understanding of audit processes and compliance frameworks, with Lead Auditor certification to ISO9001/AS9100 as a minimum.
• Confidence in leading audits, identifying non‑conformances and supporting corrective actions using structured problem‑solving approaches.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills – able to engage stakeholders at all levels and influence improvements across the business.
• Experience with quality systems and tools such as Q‑Pulse or similar, and strong IT skills.
• A technical qualification at Level4/5 (or equivalent experience) and a flexible approach to travel and working hours.
