Overview

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an organized and proactive Project Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and project support to the NW London Maternity Networks, including the Maternal Medicine Network.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a highly efficient, professional and comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the NWL Maternity Networks (including the Maternal Medicine Network). Support the teams with management of established and new projects/services, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as required.
  • Manage and prioritise workload, liaising closely with the Lead Midwife for Maternal Medicine and other members of the Networks’ leadership teams.
  • Be proactive and use initiative and judgement to deal with and prioritise issues that arise throughout the working week.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, prepare papers and minutes, manage correspondence, and support data collection and reporting.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, confidence working independently, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong IT skills and previous administrative experience.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic approach to teamwork and service improvement.
  • Previous NHS or healthcare experience is an advantage.
